Q: Can I take Ridaura ® with other medications?

It is not known whether Ridaura ® is safe for use with injectable gold, hydroxychloroquine, penicillamine, immunosuppressive agents (e.g., cyclophosphamide, azathioprine, or methotrexate) or high doses of corticosteroids. 1 Ridaura ® may interact with other drugs, so it is important to share a list of all the prescription drugs, over-the-counter medications, vitamins and herbal products you use with your doctor and pharmacist. Do not start, stop or change the dosage of any medications without your doctor's approval.

Q: How soon can I expect to see improvement in my RA symptoms?

It can take a while to see any improvement after treatment with gold therapy. 1 You may see an effect after three to four months of treatment. However, six months of treatment may be necessary. 1
